Keeper Of My Dreams

by Cuddles   Feb 8, 2006

Keeper of my dreams
I ask a favor of you.
Hold all my nightmares,
and let my good dreams come true.

Lock my cowardliness in a box,
and allow me to be brave,
to go skiing down a mountain
or surf a tidal wave.

Take my dream of traveling the world,
and make it a reality.
Let me fly on a bird's wings to Japan and Rome
and soar over France and Italy.

Give me the guy I see every night
when I close my eyes and sleep.
Play the melody of love in my mind;
soft, soothing and deep.

I ask only for these few desires
keeper of my dreams.
I long to experience joy and happiness
and everything wonderful that life can bring.

Hey. Thanks for the comment you gave me :). I came here to repay the favour, and I'm quite happy I did. Personally, I favour rhyming poems, however this one seemed to catch my attention right from the title down to the end. I found it really well written, and hope to see lots more from you. I have no complaints :). Keep up the good work.

I love the innocence portrayed in this, it's quite refreshing. I pray all your dreams come true.
