I owe you everything

Sentenced to slavery for a whole lifetime.
i had once made a choice to follow the voice of the world.

but you broke the ties off of me.
you set me free to take hold of my life,
you gave me a choice to live my life to it's fullest.
and i owe you everything.

now there was once a time when i hated everything you had done.
i couldn't see that it was only something that passed right along.
i blamed you for all of my mistakes.
and i never gave a second thought to the grace you had shone me.

but you broke the ties off of me.
you set me free to take hold of my eternity.
you gave me a choice to live my life to its fullest.
and i owe you everything.

you gave me another chance time and again, and i couldn't be anymore blessed.
i look at what I've got, and may not be much, but you know what you have in store for me.
and that's more then enough.
cause i owe you everything

    I agree with lissa!! god has given us soooooooo much. we should at least try to give something back to him. keep up the good work, and keep loving god!!!!

    God is amazing nad bc of all he's done WE DO own Him EVERYTHING..which is hard bc were sinners and always fall short.

    sometimes we may not get w whats hes doing liek you portrayed a littl in your poem, but once he holds our eternity in His hands...nothin is IMPOSSIABLE WITH HIM...PRAISE THE LORD.

    love Him no matter what, and keep up this worrk.
