Wonder

We wonder why we are to be,
we wonder why we can not see,
the thoughts we hide and misery,
are a beginning guide to living free

we make up thoughts and dream up dreams,
we hold them close but yet don't redeem,
they seem so close but yet so far,
theyre in our head and in our hearts

we try to to hide our inner thoughts,
and when were down we cast our lots,
one today, two tomorrow
Im running out may I borrow

we hold it in for fear of fate,
we take a chance hope its not too late,
on top of the world we want to be,
but hold our tongues because we cant see

we listen to people and hear their laughter,
they say you're beautiful, a beautiful disater,
we know its true through it all,
we have taken a chance and made a fall

we look on ahead for our insight,
but only find us a cold delight,
whats here for us now wont be here long,
lets hold on through the right and the wrong
