The Vampire's Kiss

by Allison   Feb 20, 2006

Silently walking
Trying not to be heard
No ones in sight
No ones uttering a word

Suddenly theres a pressence
Stalking me from behind
Coming ever closer
Thinking that I'm still blind

They come up behind me
Hold me so I can't move
Death is in the air
Now I realize what I will lose

The sharp teeth peirce the flesh
Creating a fountion of blood
That flows into their mouth
Like a welcome flood

My body stiffens
I can't breath
I start to fall
While they turn and leave

I cry out for help
But they walk away
Because of my blood
They will live another day

I started to think
Of everything that I would miss
Because I would never see them
I had been given the Vampire's Kiss

I gave this one a 5. I like the use of vampires, sounds like a metaphor for back-stabbing friends. If I would suggest one thing, it's to make that metaphor just a touch more obvious, if it is a metaphor. If not, oh well, still good.
