Brittle Love

by Love Fallacy   Mar 2, 2006

Like a peaceful breeze,
You blew right by.
You claimed you had love,
But you did lie.

A dove with horns,
Your love gave pain.
The rest of my life,
Won't be the same.

A piece of my heart,
A souvenir you stole.
All empty inside,
A man that's not whole.

You laugh this off,
And put it behind.
Doesn't matter to you,
Another guy you'll find.

Love that's so brittle,
A porcelain rose.
Now cracked at the stem,
Not allowed to grow.

To tamper with love,
A rule we did break.
My life without you,
Is a life that is fake.
