From Laughs to Cries

I remember a time
when all i did was smile
i was famous for my laugh
and nobody saw me cry.
my eyes were filled with sparkle and joy.
my skin glowed with radiance.
i used to be beautiful,
and everyone wanted to be like me.
but things happen.
people change.
and now my smile is broken.
i forgot what it was like to laugh
and i cry all the time.
my eyes look fake
and my skin is dead and dull.
i`m no longer beautiful,
and everyone hates me now.

it`s not my fault
people think i did this
to myself
but i would do anything
to be the way i was
once before
