I know I made a promise.
To never cut again
To stop the pain from happening,
To tell you how its been

But you made a promise,
To never break my heart,
To never ever hurt me,
But you tore that apart...

You have become,
Everything you feared,
The cuts on my legs,
The reason for the tears

You are the reason,
I can't let go
The reason that I'm crying,
The reason I'm alone

You are the reason,
I'm awake all night,
Sitting there just thinking,
Afraid to be alright

You are the reason,
I'm saying goodbye,
You are the only one
Who would ever make me cry.
