Her Guardian Angel

In the silence of her heart
She knew he was there
Watching out for her
Knowing she needed his care

Her heart had cried too long
The internal cuts that bled
The pain that never ceased
Was now part of her past

The loneliness she had felt
Now had a crying shoulder
Someone to take away her fear
The fear of the dark days

Those days that tied her down
Made her miserable for hours
She felt that they were it
Her point of no return

But now she could rest her mind
The loving angel was sent
Sent down by God
Now she could truly present

Present herself to the world
As strong and proud
Proud to have gotten through
With the loving help of her guardian angel
