See You then (song)

by Jon Hunt   Mar 21, 2006

I'm sitting at home, yea I'm sitting alone, I'm thinking these thoughts but I'm not doing anything,
And I'm getting depressed, and is that's what best, No there's a life to lead, a life to be seen,

And this life that I've seen, yea its better and clean, but not what we want, no we want obscene,
There is much more to this, try to make me believe, I'm sure I'll survive, of course I am fine.

I want to know the answers to the questions that I ask of you,
But I don't ask you, I just sit and chew on the thoughts that I wind, and think something different.

Now I'm still sitting at home, I'm still sitting alone, I'm sitting at home but I'm not doing anything,
Still thinking about you, or was it you, or you, was it you who said these things could be so different.

And so I'll say them once, and I'll say them twice, but every time they just won't suffice,
And I know the meanings I know the rules, I know what's best but the world is cruel,
So look to the past, the words fly so fast and I know what I meant, they just didn't last.
And in the future, I will say them again. I will mean them again hope to see you then.

Now I'm still here all alone, sitting all on my own, I'm still thinking these thoughts, but they're not doing anything.
And I'm thinking of you, was you or her, was it you who said this wouldn't be so difficult.

So look to the past, the words fly so fast and I know what I meant, they just didn't last.
And in the future, I will say them again. I will mean them again hope to see you then

Thanks again for you comments, you have a good point. It is true there is much good and bad in Africa...its just I wanted to express that side of it...for it still exists today. It is true...but perhaps not something you think about. I listened to this on your myspace....and I like it...its growing on me....you have an enchanting voice...
