Your one and only life

by Jon Hunt   Jun 6, 2006

So you feel the cold hard steel,
Your life with this gun,
Your life: come undone.

And the swinging nose, Will set you lose
Is this how it ends?
From this stool you descend.

Or falling through air, leave your life of despair
Losing your grip,
You fall as you slip.

Your life on the track, you feel you could crack
Throw yourself to the wind
Its over before it begins.

But should you give in, perform the worst of sin
Destroy your life,
Your one and only life.

You cant give up, form here the view is up
As things get better,
I try to let her,
See the future,
See what more?
See the things you're wanting for.
Find the life,
Destroy the pain.
Try again once over,
Often it seems in-vain.

You can't give up you can't lose hope,
On those around you who help you cope.
They're here for you to keep you strong
Just try your hardest you can't be wrong.

And soon one day you will be happy
