Free From you (song)

by Jon Hunt   Mar 21, 2006

Its all to much, and its all to late, and its not enough, and I'm in a state.
And I cant believe this is really me, there's so much more for you to see.

Its not right, it just isn't fair, the way I feel when your standing there.
Now I don't know if its just me, I feel as if I'm trapped and cant get free, of you

Free from you, I'm not free
Free from you, I will never be
I'm caught and tangled and intertwined
'Cos its you that stuck in my lonely mind

And now its only, only me, I'm still alone, I'm still not free.
I'm still thinking about what you said, the words still stuck, are in my head.
Now, right now I would rather be, with someone new and make believe,
That the world's not you, and I could believe, that there's someone else to set me free.

Free from you, I'm not free
Free from you, I will never be
I'm caught and tangled and intertwined
'Cos its you that stuck in my lonely mind

But now I see, I never could, see what's right, and what I should,
To make my life go this way, to make these happy thoughts to stay.
To leave here break the chains and locks and break down doors that you have blocked
And set off free, and run from here, and moving on for someone dear.

Free from you, I am now free.
Free from you, I thought I would never be.
I'm running lost in open air,
And now I'm free I couldn't care
For what once was will never be,
I've gone and lost it behind me
And running on to pastures new,
Joyful now all through and through.
