Think twice

by Spoken Silence   Mar 22, 2006

* this is a monologue i did at my school talent show that just past, of which i won spoken word*

i look into your soft brown eyes and i see...............
lies deception and betrayal
to you love is nothing but a game
and each woman who walks onto your board is nothing but a toy
i refuse to be your pawn
you walked away with that blonde, thing of yours thinking you'd get all the loving you'd ever dreamed of
well Honey,
I'm all the woman you'd ever need
and now I'm all the woman that you can't have
you say you want me, i say to late
you say you need me, i say tough luck
you say you love me,... and i freeze
i look deep into your eyes once more and i see..............
nothing, cold and empty
i don't know how i believed you in the first place
you had your chance and you blew it on a plastic Barbie
i was the fool now you're the idiot
at first i thought i wasn't good enough for you
but in truth,
th crap at the bottom of my shoe is in higher rank than you are
now, I'm gonna walk away and my back is going to be the skid marks burned into your memory
oh, and if you're waiting for me to come back to you
I'll advise you,
don't hold your breath,
you'll pass out before i even think twice
