The Note They Found On The Floor

by *~vixen~*   Mar 25, 2006

My parents drove me to this
ah... death is such sweet bliss

all day i lay there
in the cold night air

no one has found me yet
but soon they will all regret

this is my revenge to them
to thee i condemn

blade to the bone
you will never see me when I'm grown

this is what you get
in this way you will never forget

my parents walking in
looking at my sin

moonlight going through the door
touching the blood on the floor

good-bye mom
good-bye dad

and good-bye all the fun we could have had

please read and comment and rate. give some suggestions if you have to. thanks. :)

It's a very short poem, with a strong meaning....I think you did it just right!! Again you used beautiful words and made this poem unique, like only you can write them =0) Take care...Good poem

Different and effective style. I like the two sentences stanza... adds impact and emphasis to the short and speechless tone of the poem. Good write. 5/5

Its a good peice, though i think you could have put much more into it, the expressions are good but rather basic.

the imegry though is fantastic, esspessially that of the moonlight upon the blood. good peice in general

This was good, but i felt it kind of lacked description and it didnt flow very well.. but there was good imagery and i liked the bit about the moonlight! :)

This was a short, but sweet poem. Powerful, and sad. You chose your words well, and the rhymes were good.
    Good stuff.
