Hammer of Problems

I keep pounding myself in the head,
Keep wondering why I have,
So many bruises on my bruises,
So much broken that it's drivin' me mad,

Keep hiding the insanity,
Trying not to cry every single tear,
Welling up behind glassy blue eyes,
Telling myself I have nothing, no one, to fear,

Surrounding myself with these people,
Who have nothing truly good to say,
Whom wish to bring those around them,
Those they love, into dismay,

I can't stand so much drama,
I go through it each and every day,
Just pounding my head with the same hammer,
I don't understand why I don't just go away,

So I'm wishing someone to kidnap me,
Save me from the same old thing,
Letting the rain fall down on my heart,
Needing something to give my life meaning,

I'm telling you now, please stop,
One of these days I'm gonna be stretched way too thin,
I know you hurt inside just as well,
But I hurt, too, you have no idea where my heart has been,
