Accused Association

I've been telling you to lay off,
To hold that tongue while you still can,
Because if you say one more word,
I swear I'll blow my head,

It's not that I don't like you,
Or that I'd want you gone,
But every time I talk to you, it seems,
You can't help but tear me down,

I tried to be your friend,
I tried to help you recover,
But all my efforts go to waste,

I'm taking back my heart,
The one I gave to you,
So I can give it to someone else,

Accused association,
The one I had with you,
