Drowning the Fear

by Heather M Craig   Mar 28, 2006

Paitent yet willing
for the thrill
to be set free...
released from restraint
ready to ride
the waves of amour.
Not just anyone can take me,
I can't let go
for someone who isn't strong enough
for he would watch...
he shall make me drown.

The leaps much too large...
the dive makes me tremble...
the water is far too shallow,
my mind throbbing the beat of no..
but
my heart opens to you.
With a long stressed sigh

I take your hand,
together, we take the leap.
With faith, I look at you.

Upon safe landing,
my fear has washed away.
