Abortion from a daughter's eyes

by CarissalRADIOFACEl   Apr 1, 2006

"I made it, mom.
They said I could live.
You're crying, mom,
But this is a gift.
You were going to throw it away,
they said, "selfish", mom.
They said it was murder,
they let me live another day.
They told me to tell you,
mom, they want you to know.
They said we'd be happy, mom,
don't let me go.
They want you to keep me, mom.
Not throw me away.
They said you should love me, mom,
they said let me stay.
To have a daughter like me, mom,
they said was a special gift.
Abortion is killing, mom.
Why don't you want me to live?"

A strong and moving piece about an issue that is strong in the eyes of many people. Powerful and emotional, this piece shows your feelings admirably. With a nice design and good flow, definitely a piece i enjoyed reading. Well Done
