Heaven's Just A Fairytale

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Apr 4, 2006

Heaven's just a fairy tale
And carry it throughout life
But when someone says you can't
Prove it
It cuts us like a knife
We care so much
Of silly things
An answer we can't provide
So when someone questions our
Answers we just push them aside
But we don't know
And that's the thing
And we won't until we die
We don't know if it's all true
Or whether it's all a lie
A myth it may forever be
Until we die and see
But for now it can't be proven
So don't you yell at me
He's like a king
If you ask me
I mean god when I say he
He takes
He gives
The world just lives
And then one by one
We each go
But where to none of us know
We may believe
We may not
Whether someplace nice
Or just someplace
Hot
To the clouds in the sky
Or the hellish fire
Where we go isn't based on our
Desire
We may wish one
And get another
But for now we just have each other
Each others beliefs
Each others words
But words are words and nothing
More
Whether above Earth or straight
To the core
You hear the bells ring
You step into church
The choir sings
The angels have their wings
And we have a book of unproven
Things
We can fight for religion
We can fight for life
We can look for explanations
Or the meaning of life
But why bother
Just wait until you die
Then you will know
Who
What
When
Where
How
And why
We can read our little fairy tales
And I'm sure we will
There's not a reason in our minds
For religion to be killed
We'll keep believing
And we'll keep being wrong
So let the angels have their wings
And let the choir sing their song
There is a right
And there is a wrong
But we know neither so they sing
Their song
The preacher does his preaching
And we believe he's teaching
But we can't learn what's not there
Please realize that faith is made of
Air
You can change it when you want to
You can change it when you die
You can believe what you want
You can have the answers why
But we'll never know the truth
And we'll try to keep believing
But I don't believe in fairy tales
Though I can try
You can give me answers but
I wont stop asking why
That's just how I am
My religion forever changing
My thoughts of life and death
Will forever keep on changing
Heaven if you wish
Or someplace dark and cold
A ghost that haunts the Earth
Or in our coffins will we mold
What's the answer to it all
The answer can't be told
You can believe the preacher
And you can believe in fairy tales
The myth about the god
The spooky apparition
But right now I'm alive
And I have a f * cking mission
Let the choir sing their songs
And let the preacher preach
The fairy tales are in the book but
The facts we just can't reach

If there isn't a heaven please tell me why christ died on the cross for ALL of our sins so that oe day we will have a better place to be.

If there isn't a heaven please tell me why when jesus was hanging on the cross he said to the man on his right "you shall join me in paradise"

If there isn't a heaven there where is god at? Have you ever watched after rain when the sun is out and seen beams of light. Thats god renewing his water
