The Silent Closet..

by Luke   Apr 5, 2006

He waits and hides..
He can't be heard...
He sits in the closet..
Watching a bird..

He hears her talking..
Talking to her man..
Who cam all of a sudden..
Home in a transit van..

He can't be heard..
He's a dirty lie..
Her little side dish..
He hears her cry..

Her husband knows..
But she begs and pleads..
The guy in the closet..
To leave is what she needs..

He's half naked..
Curled up in the dark..
He hears her shout..
And the reply thats a bark..

He must get dressed..
He must leave now..
But he's been stupid..
And he's just realized how..

He gives out a sigh..
In his Silent hide..
He's left his mobile..
Sat on her side..

He starts to turn..
To see the chance..
The phone gives a vibration..
The husband gives a glance..

The man's Secret Closet..
Is soon to be found..
Just his phone..
The Husbands a hound..

His Silent Closet..
Is ripped open so quick..
And a fist flys in..
And hits him like a brick..

Luke that was a wicked write. I love the topic you chose. The flow was non stop from beginning to end, it all just came together so nicely. I sometime am left wondering how you come up with some of your topics as i also like to write about topics that most have not touched or are perceived as out of the norm...lol Anywyas excellent poem once again! 5/5

This is amazing, Luke. I love the theme (I never would have thought of it) and how everything flows so nicely from one event to the next. Good job!
