No one cares, when you're bare.(Sonnet)

by Luke   Mar 16, 2007

You look at pictures to see what to wear,
You go out and buy nothing but the best,
you go to places where people will care,
you go there where you'll look just like the rest.

You take your time, make your hair just perfect,
put it in the style your friends will love,
you look. A mirror. Smile at the reflect,
A full teethed smile. Well. Maybe. Kind of.

Day's end. You stand at the same mirror. Now,
You realise as you take off your clothes,
and wash out your hair, youu realise. How
this isn't you. Tearful eyes, Runny nose.

You look at the reflect. Dripping wet hair.
Bare. Not following a trend. No-one cares.
