Daddy And The deep Blue

She sits alone..
A girl on the dock..
She stares at her watch..
The date on the clock..

It's been 13 years..
Since daddy left home..
Left a two year old girl..
With her mummy all alone..

She stares into the water..
See's a face looking back..
The face turns into daddy..
His eyes SO deep and black..

She waits here everyday..
To see a little sign..
Every boat she sees..
''Daddy's Home He's Mine!''

But daddy never comes..
He's lost out in the blue..
The ever lasting sea..
This dream is life and true..

She sits alone..
Wanting no one but him..
The man who left home..
Made all the home lights dim..

She doesn't care for waiting..
Another 13 years can fly..
But to her daddy's face..
She'll never say goodbye..
