Tears in the rain...

by PURE HEART   Apr 13, 2006

Leaving my hand in the crowded world,
you swept away like the wind blows.
I kept searching you till the distance,
may be you are standing so close.

My heart started bleeding,
My eyes started crying,
My tears started flowing,
And my soul was dying.

The grief inside me,
came out through my tears.
But you were far from me to see,
that how much pain I got to bear.

All looked at me with the sympathizing eyes,
as they could feel that i was in pain.
But you did not even turned to see my tears,
but you thought it was just another rain.

My expectations got burried in the earth,
And joys were blown with the rain.
My love was lost in the crowd,
Now every rain reminds me of this pains...

Ah just reading the second stanza gives me the most frightening chills up my spine, for that is so beautifully terrifying and sorrowful, it reflects upon how I see the world. A heart-melting poem.
