Amber Armada

by Poetically Speaking   Apr 14, 2006

I've learned through every waking breath,
true wishes you keep.
Until you decide to wake up,
leave yourself intact.
Like Jesus paid in vien,
I will be coming back.

For the morning will come,
your hands softly pressed.
This pillow in my arms,
I hold like our love was so sure,
I will be coming back.

I've learned through wrong and will,
your beautiful breath is warm,
that our plans were seldom right,
it's your pain with which I'm adorned.

And scorned,
staring out the backseat happy will I become,
that at the hand of our love,
will be our only son.

For one last kiss and this,
I condemn your only will,
for before sacrifice allows it,
angels shall pay for our wrongs.

When you wake up,
I will be standing here.
Beautiful amber hair,
for none exist who can compare.

My dear.

As I hold this pillow tight,
one more wish to you.
Please make this promise right,
and I will not stop you.
