Eat your love

by alive in death   Apr 15, 2006

Another chapter of hate,
cataloged with sincere caution...
cant live free without covering your tracks.
must speak in a filter,
everything must be censored,
if you slip,
one breathe out of line,
you\'ll surely stitch your lips,
whip the tongue into submission.

I\'m so dead to the world right now,
i cant begin to look back at where it started,
it just seems like one collected massacre of emotion,
casual embraced malice,
disguised in love.

guard your precious lies,
keep safe your thoughts,
iron grip on your sanity,
don\'t let it go,
keep the faith that you cant trust.

eat the memories that have gold,
before they decay,
eat your love,
or it will make way with stolen hands.
eat your love,
you cant take it to the world,
so digest it inside,
eat your love.

Awesome. I love the repetition of the title at the end. This is great writing!
