Death is here

by David Marshall   Apr 16, 2006

Here I come,
here to die.
Here I come,
here I cry.

What to do,
what to feel.
What to do,
what is real.

Where to go,
where to see.
Where to go,
where I'll be.

Death is here,
torn in fear.
Death is here,
one more tear.

Set me free,
right here and now.
Set me free,
from misery.

Release my pain,
end it now.
release my pain,
to death I bow.

Cut me loose,
break the chain.
Cut me loose,
stop this pain.

Burn in hell,
for what you did.
Thanks to you,
now I'm dead.

I hope your happy,
I'm on the ground.
I hope your happy,
silent, no sound.

I hope you realize,
what you've done.
It was quick and painless,
at least with that gun.

Look at the blood,
it spills your regret.
You screwed up my life,
don't ever forget.

Deep in my sorrow,
was someone who cared.
Deep in my sorrow,
was love I shared.

Deep in my heart,
was a place for you.
Before I could start,
my despair just grew.

Now that I'm gone,
the pain is no more.
I found a way out,
so I opened the door.

In my grave,
still I cry.
Carved on my grave,
I say goodbye.
