I can't

by David Marshall   Apr 16, 2006

Love is all I want,
does it really exist?
Sorrow is all I got,
I'm dieing, I can't take this.

I can't breath, choking from this pride.
Despair drips from my eyes.
I can't leave, the pain refuses to hide.
Regretting all these lies.

I can't see, my eyes seem to blur.
Life slips slowly from my grip.
I can't flee, decisions are unsure.
Soul and heart begin to rip.

I can't wait, sitting for love to come my way.
Death resumes my fate.
It's too late, my heart begins to decay.
The exit of life has opened it's gate.

I can't bleed, struggling for relief.
I'm already dead inside.
There's something I need, what I believe.
Every thing left is pushed to the side.

I can't love, these tears now fall.
Nothing left to achieve.
I can't, I can't, how can I love at all.
When love I do not receive.
