I remember that day
You hit me with your belt
Remember daddy?
You made my skin welt

I remember crying
Saying daddy please no
If you had felt any hesitation
You did well not to show

I remember when it hit me
I couldnt believe what you had done
I screamed and ran out of the room
Into the comforting arms of my mum

I remember how I git myself
You had convinced me I was stupid
The reason why you hit me
Was to show me it had been wrong what I did

I remember how I scratched my arm
Just dug my nail in until it bleed
Every time I mad you and mummy angry
Because of something I said or did

I remember everything
Its stays in my head so very clear
The scars down my arms remind me as well
Because you never forget the days that you tear
