Lying in the bathtub
The water soaks into my skin
Tonights the night I give up
Giving in to all my sin

Please forgive me my dear lord
As I can no longer push away my frown
And lord please give me the strength
To have the courage to press down

You are so aware of everything
So you will know how ive tried to have more power
And how every night I couldnt take it
And id mark my skin in the shower

Respect my decision to leave this place
For I have given it everything I have got
I leave because everything I ever wanted to be
Is everything that im not
