The faint whisper is getting quieter
The screams are becoming louder
These nightmares have taken over
Every last bit of my existence
Just as my body begins to give up
A smile is put upon my face
Then wiped off without a trace
From what I remember
You and I were together
Yet as I woke and you vanished
The pain seemed to remain
How could this happen
Why must things change for the worst
