You're suppose to love me
isn't that your job
If only you'd see
all I do is sit and sob

I should be used to this
I know I'm not good enough for you
but all I can do is reminisce
wishing all of this wasn't true

All you do is frantically yell
throw in a punch if things get rough
Laughed when I fell

I've tried changing myself so many times
yet every me is still unseen
Nothing seems to be working as our distance climbs
I cant believe were the same gene

I might be asking for too much
I guess I should grow up and give it a rest

but maybe that's too much to request.
