The girl in this poem

by ShaunaMarie   May 3, 2006

She cries at night, she cant go to sleep,
Its hard for her, shes in too deep,
Shes got scars on her body, but more on her heart,
She plasters on a smile, so she wont fall apart,
She gives up what she has, to help other kids,
She thinks its her fault, what her daddy did,
The girl in this poem, is thoughtful and wise,
She wants to be liked as just one of the guys,
Shes infected with sadness, it trails behind,
Shes infested with madness, its trapped in her mind,
She hates the world, and how its so cruel,
She despises herself shes just a tool,
Nobody loves her, shes so alone,
She cant even pick up her f-n cell phone,
She hates her looks, she doesnt understand,
Ill always be there to hold tight her hands,
She tries to be selfless, to give more than get,
She cant waste it all on one stupid bet,
Maybe now dad will finally see,
The girl in this poem.. is me...
