Somewhere In Bewteen

She says that she's happy without him,
That he always caused her pain and tears.
And without him in her life,
she has no more fears.
She's doing things he said she could never do,
she's meeting new guys.
She said she's never been happier.

But somewhere in between the dullness of her eyes,
and the cracks in her laugh,
a part of her still loves him.
He still has that one piece to her heart;
the piece that remembers...

    Hey...WOW!! this is awesome....I relate to it alot...b/c this may sound REALLY REALLY weird but me and this guy have been datin over the internet for 9 months....and we've been together off and on for 3 years....sure I'v been with other guys but none match up to him....and I'd do anything for him....and I'll alwayz want him...b/c he'll alwayz have that one peice like ur poem said!     Oh my god!!!!!!
    i can't believe a poem could make me cry!
    i spit up with like my 'one true love' well over a year ago, like ages an ages ago, since then i have had a string of fellas, and a real intense relationship which lasted like 6mths, and still to this day all i'd ever ever want out of life...is to be with him one more time! ( my 'one true love', that is)
    this poem reflects that so well... i love it!!!!!!

    this honestly did bring a tear to my eye!!!!!!!!!!

    well done 100/5...oops not poss. 5/5 instead!

    Wow this one is kind of scary for me. It reminds me of my boyfriend who is not here anymore. I dont really know how to explain it but it does. I really like it though.
