I just want to love you

I know i am nothing
and i have nothing
but who really does
the world is so
materialistic now
i cant stand it
i am offering you
my heart my love my soul
but its not enough
without those things though
nothing else exists
everything else is fake
so many people are so
caught up in possessions
its so sad to look
at this world
and everything people
are forgetting
for a nicer car
or a bigger house
i just want to love you
but i cant without those things
and when love isnt enough
i no longer want to go on
when love isnt all you need
i no longer want to live
so please if your going to
just kill me now

    Wow, that is a really powerful piece, It seemed to capture the intensity and rawness of true love, I loved the brutality and truth within this piece for when you have given your all to someone you have nothing left of yourself as our worth is determined by our spirit and not our material posessions . In this world people are so blinded by their own self-importance and self-worth they forget to look atound them and see that the most fundamental things are missing from their lives such as love and compassion and a genuine care and concern for another person.

    i still good though.
    Reminds me alot of the poems i often find myself writting. though yours are alot better.
