Today Life Became Clearer

I saw the most beautiful person today
On the faces that have no names
I saw god
In the people who have nothing to say

I understood what everything meant
In the second I knew nothing
To live and to die
Its all just time spent

I sat and watched all of life's grace
Painted my picture
God lent me the brush
Said here use my space

I will sit and cry tomorrow
For as long as I can
Cause happiness came today
And in that lies sorrow

Wrote more words no one will read
They cant yet be heard
Buried way beneath
But everything grows from a seed

Today life became clearer
Cause I opened my eyes
Wiped away the fog
And I looked in the mirror
