Amen, to the Heavens

We are here for a reason,
Whether that be to fulfil a dream,
Or help someone else's come true,
To watch an angel gleam,

When our reason is fulfilled,
And loves are taken away,
You must remember the good times,
You had by their side each day,

The moments we all smiled,
Now bring us to tears,
But let them be happy,
For their soul will live on for years,

Inside our hearts special ones will stay,
Buried deep forever there,
Waiting to be remembered,
As beautiful person so rare,

When times are rough,
And you need hand,
Turn to the ones, who know you best,
The hearts that understand,

We will pull through even as you're gone,
You will be remembered and not forgotten,
As now the heavens you have landed,
You're happy and safe that's all we ask, Amen.
