A Thinker Of Wrong Times

by Sarah Ann   May 31, 2006

Significant I know I would be
If I were a thinker and I learned
Pertaining to the thoughts I gave
And the merits I have earned

Dominant would be the fate of me
When the last light of hope is none
Fear this! The world is changing
You are helpless and outdone

I say with pride and somber lips
If I made a difference in this life
My weaknesses would be all those
The Devil favors: Roads to strife

In the root of Satin's establishments
Our fingers lay singly intertwined
Oh how influential I would be
If I were a thinker of wrong times
