somewhere no one
can see me cry
especially not you

Hide me
somewhere no one
can hear me scream
especially not you

Go away, leave me alone
alone with all my tears
and the shadows all around
with only myself to hate

Go away, I hate you too
only for loving me
liar, what a liar I am
you turned your back at me

Hold me, and don't let me go
whisper those words of comfort
silently in my ear
like you always used to do

Go away, please go away
before I dare to smile
because I got to cry
Stay
