The shell

by Jacob Perry   Jun 2, 2006

I turn the page
and start again
turn the rage
and hurt again
twist the mind
burn the skin
scar it all
bleed again
lined skin
reddened blades
nothing left
to keep me sane
hate to feel
wish to be numb
the love i feel
is all thats left
i killed my dreams
to end the pain
no hope of something better
you can't be let down
I don't hope and i don't dream
I live to be a shell
