Miss Popular

by Amy   Feb 18, 2004

She hides behind
her plastered smile
looking fake
all the while

She laughs at their jokes
and lives up to her part
as Miss Popular
she ignores her heart

She doesn't let
her true feelings show
she does what she wants
and sinks so low

At a hint of pressure
she just gives in
ignore her conscience
the guilt within

She talks like them
she walks like them
laughs like them
and acts like them

Does she know?
what happened to her pride?
it was washed away
with the rising tide

She cries in public
as if on cue
all she wants
is attention from you

She craves your pity
it makes her feel good
makes her think
shes understood

She relys on others
to get what she wants
she makes fun of the weak
teases and taunts

But the day will come
she'll be left without
one single friend
and she'll be alone
in the end.

(This poem is written for a chick i know, she used 2 b a friend but now shes a total b****)
