This poem is dedicated to my sweet friend Danika Jackson (aka © Lo5t@ng3L.) Baby, I know you are having a very hard time right now, just remember that I am here for you as much as I can be. Please don't give up, the world has already lost so many great people, your death doesn't need to be added to that list.

Just know that I am looking for you,
and calling out your sweet name.
I'm searching the shadow for your soul,
and antidotes for your acidic pain.

Don't you dare give up on me,
not when I see how wonderful you are.
Don't you give up on yourself either,
Not when you've fought so long and hard.

Just take life one step at a time,
and try as hard as you can day by day.
Just listen to me for a moment,
and let me convince you to stay.

    I never forgot that you wrote this for me. That's how I found you again to add you to my list. My last account has been deleted by myself. Every time I'm upset, I read this. It brings me comfort. I lost my grand mother on March and I carried a copy of this with me all through her wake and funeral. Just so I knew at least someone cared. I will always be greatful for this poem. Thank you once again. Hope you're well sweetie. Miss you.

    You showed alot of character thru just 3 stanzas. The only thing i could say is in the second stanza, last line: the rhyme seems a lil forced (so hard and far). it might work out better if you said (so long and hard) cuz are and hard have the same long a sound. hope that helps out, again, very strong friendship poem that does its job!

    Oh my goodness. This nearly made me cry. And even though it was only 3 stanza's long. You got straight to the oint and showed how much you care about danika. Very well done. 5/5 For sure!
