It Feels Good

From the moment
that we met
I knew it was true
we were meant to be

We started going out
both of us frigid at first
The ice was soon broken
After a passionate kiss

Three months later
we were still going strong
I loved you
But didn't know how to say it

There were so many things
I wanted to tell you
about myself
my hopes and dreams

Suddenly something happened
Before I could stop it
You broke up with me
I went into denyal

The next three months
Were ever so painful
I convinced my friends I was over you
Yet I had not convinced myself

I told you
That I no longer cared about you
and that you meant nothing to me
my feelings had changed

Truthfully, they were the same
But I would of never told you
You moved on so quickly
Which hurt me so

I finally woke up
and started getting over you
I went out with someone else
though I was still confused

I can now say though
That I am over you
I have finally stopped liking you
...Man it feels good!
