A body that no longer drives men wild

by Mona   Jun 17, 2006

"Oh no" she screamed "My child!"
When I showed her the scars upon a body,
That no longer drives men wild

"Oh no" she muttered "Child of mine"
And she drank one glass after another,
As if in a hurry to finish the bottle of wine

"Oh no" she said "I should have prayed!"
(while already drunk) She tried to pray to the Lord,
Whom she in any possible way betrayed

"Oh no", she hopelessly cried "My child!"
While holding her head between her hands she said;
"That body will never again drive men wild"
