What Was Once Ours

by BlueEyedMystery   Jun 20, 2006

I sit on my roof,
Gazing at the stars,
I'm thinking of you,
And what was once ours.

I pull my jacket closer,
As a lonely tear falls,
I see a flash of lightening,
And hear the wolves calls.

I miss the way you talked,
I miss the way you cared,
I miss the way you whispered,
"I will always be there."

I wished on a shining star,
That you would come back,
Everything would be the same,
And my heart wouldn't be cracked.

I close my eyes defeated,
Cause deep in my heart I know,
That will never happen,
Because you don't love me anymore.

Awww. That was sad. Really goog though.

I liked how you said you wished on a star. It was cool.

Again, I don't see anything that needs to be changed in this. It was a great write! 5/5
