Can you hear me?

Can you hear me when I'm crying in the night,
i often imagine holding you tight.

Do you see me when I'm standing,hurting at you're grave,
i try to hold back the tears i try to be brave.

Can you hear me when i talk about you with such pride,
of my little brother who's on the other side.

Do you see me when I'm looking at our childhood pictures every day,
i often laugh out loud at the silly games we used to play.

Can you hear me when I'm talking to you as i look at your star,
I'm telling myself that you're not really that far.

Do you see me reminding myself that you're with me everywhere i look.
the memories are in my mind stored in a great big book.

So how could i forget when you're never really gone,
and i know your memory will always live on.

    I loved the last two lines, they're so true. When someone's gone, that person is still there for you because you still can remember how everything used to be.
