Take A Chance,Make A Change

by Joyce Duboise   Jun 23, 2006

Homeless man,
On side of rode,
Just got your check,
But your so cold.

No kids to feed,
No bills to pay,
You Don't have time,
It's out of your way.

You need to get home,
To do nothing at all,
You've got to take a nap,
You can't miss that call.

But what about him,
Where will he go,
When the rain comes,
And the wind starts to blow.

Where will he hide?
Away from his fears?
Who will he run to,
To wipe the tears?

Just take a chance,
Make a change,
I know there's something,
That you can arrange.

He'd love to know,
That someone does care,
Just to know,
Some people do share.

Change his life,
Help him get through,
And in the end,
It'll change you.
