My Angel, My Friend

When my life turns to dark,
When I'm alone and scared,
You are my guiding light,
To always be there.

Every time my heart breaks,
When my tears flow,
You are my loving healer,
With your precious glow.

When I seem to get lost,
Upon life's paths,
and feel so confused,
Because nothing seems fair,
You are my helpful leader,
Filled with so much care.

When times of pain,
Always come and go,
When feelings are hurt,
And confidence is low,
You are always by my side,
My angel of eternal lend,
And forever and always,
My loving Friend.

    I've been trying for ages to write a poem for my bestest mate and came to dead ends, so I've been looking at other peoples' friendship poems to find some inspiration, and this helped alot. Brillaint poem, thanks :]

    Lovely poem. Feelings of love and friendshop throughout, and the imagery between angel's and friends is good, I belive my friends are angels so this poem seemed really true to me.
