When Tomorrow Comes

by Cuddles   Jun 26, 2006

When tomorrow comes I hope you know my feelings haven't changed.
I will love you as much then as I do today.
When tomorrow comes I hope you see the depth of my soul,
the broken pieces of my life that you have made whole.
When tomorrow comes I hope you remember the way we grew in love,
how heaven itself smiled down on us that the way things were.
When tomorrow comes I hope you know it's okay to love again,
that because you hurt is doesn't mean you shouldn't let anyone in.
Keep these words close to your heart and hold them ever so dear
because when tomorrow comes you might not find me here.

Ohh my gosh that gave me chills! Wow...you've got such an amazing way with words!! I love all of your poems so much. There's only one thing I would change, and it is on "because you hurt is doesn't mean", you should take out the "is". It's just a typo hahah I do that all the time! But that poem is simply incredible....keep writin, hun!
