My Storm

Whispers and tears in this midnight hour,
rain down upon me like a thunder shower.

Falling like the rain are the tears from my eyes,
Tears that only you could make me cry.

Booming like the thunder are the beats of my heart
Waiting for this crimson rain to start.

Storming inside are my mixed up emotions.
Each is a flash before my eyes like lightning in motion.

The storm is calmed by the midnight moon
to reveal my body, my life has ended too soon.
