Rag Doll

by Kara !   Jul 11, 2006

Milky skin and rosy cheeks
My body's made of buttons and seams
Stitching holds my limbs on tight
But without a brain I'm incomplete

Thick brown yarn twisted into plaits
Dressed in clothes of rags and tats
The feel of cotton for my flesh
Yet with no bones I lay down flat

Heart shaped lips painted red
And fiberfill stuffed in my head
Vacant black holes dotted for eyes
But missing a heart, I'm as good as dead

Useless, unnecessary, I'm not real
'Cause like a rag doll is how I feel
