Tell Me

by Lauraballz   Jul 24, 2006

I see your face all around
And I drop to the ground,
Tell me,
How I'm expected to walk.
Your words provoke tears,
From inside my ears,
Tell me,
How I'm expected to talk.

The news of your gain,
Brings sorrow and pain,
Tell me,
How I'm expected to live.
I see the picture you placed,
For me to be faced,
Tell me,
How am I meant to forgive?

Your touch on my skin,
Forces shivers within,
Tell me,
How am I meant to not care?
The words you once spoke,
To me, make me choke
Tell me,
How can this be just fair?

Wonderful poem. Very emotional and heartfelt, it is also sad and I can relate. Keep up your good work.
